This project includes resurfacing of various roads in unincorporated Santa Cruz County, including roads in Felton, Seacliff (Aptos), and La Selva Beach neighborhoods, and portions of San Andreas Road, Buena Vista Drive, Green Valley Road, Holohan Road, Airport Boulevard, Paulsen Road, Ocean Street Extension, and Quail Hollow Road.

This project resurfaces all of Alba Road and Jamison Creek Road both of which were badly damaged by debris removal operations after the 2020 CZU Complex Fire. This project will also resurface a portion of Empire Grade that was intended to be resurfaced in 2020 but was delayed due to the CZU Complex Fire.

This project includes construction of a 10’ wide paved pathway along the side of Green Valley Road from Holohan Road to Mesa Verde Drive (following the existing path alignment). In addition to the path, the project will include improved road crossings, bus shelters, landscaping, and art installations. The path project is anticipated to begin later this summer and be completed in fall/ winter.
